as they pick up these important skills:

 

Impulse Control: this will help them to be aware of and develop more self-control when it comes to managing their gadget use and focusing on revising instead of giving in to their impulses, being more careful in doing and checking their work instead of rushing through, as well as not going off-topic in their compositions. 

 

Planning and Organising: Time management, learning to prioritise and pace themselves month by month and to draw up and follow a schedule to keep on track in their revision.

 

Growth Mindset: To be able to persevere despite facing hurdles and when they feel like giving up when the work is challenging. 

 

Social-Emotional: Their emotional well-being cannot be neglected as they are facing the pressures of a stressful year and they will learn practical strategies to cope.
